This will be a short one but better then nothing right?

This was August of 2011. The days before F1 race in Montreal me and Kris decided to go and at the same time pick up Yuri.

Me and Kris took cover at a Starbucks, we got caught in the rain while wondering around.

If people don’t stop for regular stop signs good luck with this one.

This is back in Toronto, found it odd the way he held his gf/wife/lady friend. He seemed very possessive/controlling maybe even fearful.

A lot of confusion going on there. Waiting for the RT.

This was at a movie premiere. Was an interesting experience for sure but I didn’t enjoy the politics during and after. This was after the so called red carpet.

On my way out, got my free beer and redbull and I’ve had enough.

I think this was my view outside the gallery.

Few people missing a few moments as they go about their day.

Not sure if this was same day but none the less Yulia is having none of it.

Probably a different day, coffee with Natasha.

I am sure he’s not gonna be happy about seeing this.

Went street shooting with Arthur, Dan and his name I can’t remember for the life of me. Sorry I am horrible with names.

China town. After a few second he noticed me, but then continued on with his work.

First of two coffee’s with Megan. Can’t remember where this was, downtown but that’s about it. And I might have had a hot chocolate as well.

Was a fun day, after this dropper her off at a taxi and then made my way to a lacrosse game.

On a different day, on my way to volunteering at the gallery. I’ll leave it to you to decide which the world needs.

Went to shoot a live show. Was my first time. The band is Monday Rose, and I have some digital stuff here.

Different day, more wondering. He saw me snap this got up took his bike with him and walked away.

Same park. Someone wrote “I MISS YOU” on the fence using rope.

Two different Day that I hung out with her we just got coffee walked and talked. As you can see this was from a while ago by how it looks outside.

We arrive at Pickering. I decided to bring the flash along with and go crazy.

Went on the swings. That’s what the cool kids do these days, right?

Caught her by surprise. And I know it’s an ass move on my part to use a flash where its pitch black.

Yay water? I didn’t come dressed for the occasion.

This was again at Pickering. She’s always on the phone or texting. Like serious.

We had coffee. Was shooting with one hand and not really looking at what I was taking.

In other news I am a new owner of a Leica M6 (sorry no unboxing video) Shot one roll with is and another almost done. Will post later.

Peace from the now finally snow covered Toronto.

Had the film developed for a while, but took me some time to save up and finally get the Epson V750. So now I have zero excuses to not post.

Don’t remember the exact date these were taken but as you can see still warm and sunny outside.

So it all starts with Jenya picking me up and off for coffee we went.

This was all shot on my Hasselblad 500c/m using VERY expired film.

The man himself, Jenya at Tim Hortons. Coffee #1, can’t remember which one this was at, though they all look the same.

A tree, reminded me of parts of my thesis project that no one saw. Might be interesting to print big and see what everyone is doing in the scene.

That dog was having the time of its life. Ball and water, whats not to love?

Oh ya, this was in Port Perry I think or near by. Stopped by had a hot dog and just relax.

Bonus shot when shooting a 120 roll in a 220 back. Yes those are holes from where the attached the film when developing.

Kris asked me to take some shots at her work for a presentation she had to do. She wanted nothing to do with it.

Can’t show you the shots cause it was in the hospital and not sure of the regulation with people involved.

Later that day went for a coffee with Kris and Yulia, clearly long day for everyone.

Yulia, always one the phone and making crazy faces during the whole thing.

Jenya forgot his coat at his sisters place so I joined him on a drive to pick it up. (This was a 2+ hour trip I think)

This is mid way we stopped for a coffee, forgot what he was looking at on my phone.

They had a 4-5 month old lab, forgot his name. Also they have cat one of which had kittens not to long ago. Never seen anything so tinny as those kittens.

On the drive back as the sun sets.

Went to Montreal for a few days. Master plan to pick up Yuri at some point in Ottawa. Drove down with Kris and Josh .

Josh went there for beer fest or something me and Kris to see Montreal and get Yuri.

Wondering about.

Kris read some book and they mention some ‘hill’ so we went to see it and climb it.

This should have been a warning to us.

I think this was like not even half way up, and Kris as always a fan of getting her picture taken.

You’d think I’d get the hint but guess not.

Not sure what she was looking at. Maybe the death clouds that we noticed approaching yet continued on the climb.

This was on our way to find a place to hide from the rain and drive off. It was one crazy storm and I had both my camera with NO bad. Luck for me they survived.

And call me childish but I laughed at this. Found out later this is the sign for a siamese connection. Good to know.

This was the end of the Montreal trip. Before we left we met up with Jenya, Cara, Dana, Xi, Laura and her boyfriend (who’s name I am totally blanking on) and grabbed a bite to eat. They all came for either shopping of watching F1.

The drive back was interesting. We left Montreal at 10:30-11pm by the time we got home the sun was coming up.

Took the dog for a walk, she was very eager to go somewhere. And look what she found.

She also had surgery (nothing major got her spayed)

They had to shave a part of her leg and tummy.
